the other和others的區(qū)別

the other，特指“其它的”人或物，相加等于總數(shù)?？倲?shù)是兩個(gè)時(shí)，有one...the other...的結(jié)構(gòu)用法。others是名詞，表示“別人”，等同于other people。

the other的用法

the other可以作主語：意思是其他的，另一個(gè)；也可以做定語放在名詞前，意思一樣。但是這幾個(gè)詞中凡是前面加定冠詞the的都是有范圍的，比如那群人中等等。主要詞組:one...the other就是：一個(gè)……另一個(gè)……的意思，如：

One of them is blue，the other ones are purple.

它們的其中一個(gè)是藍(lán)色的，其他的是紫色的。

others的用法

others可以用other+復(fù)數(shù)名詞來解釋。others后不能夠再加名詞，others有一個(gè)固定詞組：some……others……意思是：一些……另一些……。如：

There are many people on the beach,some are having fun,others are swimming in the ocean.

有許多人在沙灘上，一些正玩得開心，另一些正在海里游泳。

the other和others的區(qū)別

the other指其它的……，其后可接可數(shù)名詞和單數(shù)。如：the other book另外的一本書，the other map另一張地圖；其后也可跟可數(shù)名詞的復(fù)數(shù)形式，如：the other flowers其它的花朵，the other teachers其它的老師們，還可以接不可數(shù)名詞如：the other water 剩下的水，the other beer別的啤酒。

others其用法相當(dāng)于復(fù)數(shù)名詞，此詞不能用作定語，表示的意思是“不具體的某些東西”，如：

This chemical is poisonous.Others are poisonous,too.(others=other chemicals)
